“quaint farmhouse”

A charming little farmhouse with a lovely dog! The spot was a bit inconvenient and there were no restaurants within walking distance. The pool was in bad shape; the jacuzzi was freezing and the sauna felt like a storage room. It could be lovely with some fixes. Early in the morning it sounded like someone was rolling a large metal ball on the upstairs floor.

“Thankyou so much for making us feel so welcome”

Salvatore was very welcoming and the dinner was amazing and great value. The apartment was spacious enough for the three of us, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking on the one night we didn’t have dinner. The bathroom was clean and modern. The town itself has limited options – just a bar and a small supermarket – so bring your own supplies if you plan to cook.

“Beautiful location and host”

The host was a lovely man who did his best to make us comfortable, and the location is beautiful. I’d definitely recommend it for a rural stay with older kids or no kids. However, there was no microwave or kettle, so preparing bottles for our babies was a nightmare. The host family lives in the apartment above the house, and until 10:30 pm they were very noisy, which made it hard to keep our baby asleep. They also have a large dog that loves to run in when the door is open and grab things, so we spent a while chasing him around the garden to get our baby wipes back, but he was a beautiful dog.

The host was very friendly and helpful, trying to chat with us in Italian and limited English, and fulfilled all our requests, even taking us to his restaurant. The kitchen could use a few upgrades, like a toaster and a coffee machine.
