The location is good. On the website it shows a rate of 1200 for 2 days, but when I arrived the owner said it was 1200 for one night. I was a solo female traveller who didn’t know Hindi and they didn’t know English either, so I bargained with him and he agreed to 1100 for 2 days, but with a condition: one night I could stay on the houseboat and the next night in the room behind the houseboat. That was terrible. The toilet was unhygienic, there was no fan, and only one socket worked. So it’s better to call him and ask everything about the stay, check‑in, facilities, washroom, and whether any other tourists are there, etc.

As a solo female traveller, finding a safe and comfortable place to stay is always on my mind. I stayed at their Young Lake Palace Houseboat. The staff, especially Mohammed Sareer, was very nice, extremely helpful and polite, and made tea for me when I had a cold. The staff will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The location gives a good view as well.

Best location with finest quality accommodation. Would recommend 101% for a luxurious and cozy stay. Best regards to the owner and caretakers who have excellent behaviour and politeness
