We celebrated my daughter's birthday with a staycation at the resort; we called two weeks early for early check‑in and were told it was free, but when we arrived the room was not ready and we were offered a different room for an extra $30, the same thing the other couple at the desk heard, so it felt like a bait‑and‑switch. I was charged for early check‑in after being told I wouldn't be.

The property is beautiful and well kept, rooms are exceptionally clean with great housekeeping, and the spa services are fantastic with very comfortable beds. However, the fine dining spot Corn Maiden is advertised as open nightly, yet in July it was closed on Sunday and Monday, which is odd for a world‑class resort in Maui.

I liked the location and the food. No kiddie pool, bikes were always chained up, not like the Hyatt hill country resort in SA where you could get a bike whenever. I just felt like for the price of the stay there wasn’t much to be offered. Only had 3 over priced restaurants

Customer service was excellent and the entire facility was spotless; I loved the adult pool right next to our room, though it took a long walk from the front desk to get there. The pool water was very salty, and I couldn't figure out why.
