“Het hardwerkende personeel maakt je dag!”
The place sits close to the beach; there are chairs but no chiringuito, so you have to drive 5‑8 minutes. The breakfast is simple yet good. Rooms with terraces are spacious, and the terrace itself is also roomy. The terrace furniture is old and worn. The beds are very comfortable! There is some noise from the neighbors’ door slams, but most guests are quiet. We didn’t use the pool, partly because the mattresses on the pool chairs are thin and completely worn out, and the view didn’t entice us to sit there. In the evening we had a drink at the bar and were served by a very friendly man. The ladies at reception are very warm and helpful, as are the men at breakfast. The property looks a bit dated, with old caulking in the shower and mattresses on the pool chairs, but the room still smells fresh. A major complaint or anti‑compliment to the big boss or owner: there is far too little staff. The reception ladies do everything beyond checking in, including cleaning rooms and the outside, while they also have to keep an eye on the reception and take calls—what a disgrace. The staff rush around in their slippers and are very close-knit. Without them, you don’t get anything worth a cent, so appreciate them, don’t take them for granted, and pay them so they feel valued. Special thanks to Veronica, who truly goes the extra mile for her guests!
