Breakfast was fine and the staff were helpful, but nothing really wrong with the hotel; it just felt a bit overpriced for a small double room in a local pub.

Parking was plentiful during our stay, the breakfast was good with a nice variety of food, and the room was pleasant and the staff friendly. The only issue was that the main road next to the hotel made it noisy at night, and the bed was not comfortable for us.

A last‑minute trip turned into an ideal stay. Communication before arrival was excellent, and we especially appreciated the conker ant‑spider deterrent in the bedroom! 🤣
