Riad Azzar was a beautifully calm and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the Marrakesh souks! The staff were all welcoming and friendly and simply couldn’t have done enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room was beautifully clean and the breakfast we had each day was so delicious, we even got a breakfast to go on the day we were leaving at 6.30am!. The Riad is based just a couple of streets away from the main square, later in the evening it could feel a little quiet when walking back alone - just something to be aware of if you’re a female traveller. We didn’t experience anything untoward, it’s just worth noting

Our stay at Riad Azzar was exceptional from start to finish. The entire team was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and Ayoub in particular made a huge difference by greeting us with such kindness and professionalism that we instantly felt at ease in a new place. Wherever we went, we always felt comforted knowing we had a true “home” to return to. The food was outstanding, with every meal delicious, and the rooftop breakfasts overlooking the city were unforgettable. If you’re after a riad that blends hospitality, comfort, and heart, Riad Azzar is the one—highly recommend!

The breakfast is very generous! There’s daily fresh‑pressed orange juice and local breakfast options, plus yogurt and fruit, and on request you can get scrambled eggs. The riad is very centrally located in the Medina. There is nothing to complain about!

The hotel sits in a central spot yet feels quiet thanks to its courtyard pool, and the rooftop terrace breakfasts were a real treat.
