Augusta Club & Spa - Adults Only

The staff were kind, caring, energetic, and worked in good spirits, very communicative. The buffets were varied and constantly restocked. The establishment was incredibly clean. Kudos to the ladies who take care of the rooms and common areas. Even though it’s adults‑only, some guests’ lack of manners polluted the place with loud chatter, jumping in the indoor pool while it’s supposed to be a spa, an area meant to be calm and relaxing.

“Great place for a get away.”

The pool, restaurant, breakfast, lobby, and common area were all outstanding. Just great. My room was a little worn out; the floor tiles were warped and buckling, the AC was very old fashioned and didn’t work well. The bed took up much of the floor space and walking around was difficult, so an update is needed. I asked if a better room was available when I checked in and was told the hotel was fully booked, so maybe there are better rooms and I just got the leftover. Parking was pricey—30 Euro? That was a lot for a space that’s probably paid for.

“Correct mais pas à refaire”

The reception staff were very friendly, the bed was comfortable and the location was good. The breakfast buffet was also very good. The pool was left to the discretion of guests, making it feel like a campsite: you couldn’t get a lounge chair because everything was on it all afternoon and no one came to help. There was a lot of noise in the hotel and the soundproofing needs improvement. It was disappointing to see a bathroom that looks like a 2000s 4‑star room—see photo.

The location and rooms were fine, but over my five years staying there it has declined.
