Very friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Nice walks from the pub. The pub is really set up as a restaurant and the food and drinks are very expensive. £7.40 for a pint of Moretti is way too much for a village pub. The notices about rules and regulations (which you need) are a bit over the top and goes against the friendliness of the staff. The 11pm curfew could be a problem if you want to go for a night out in nearby Holmfirth

The area was really nice and quiet, the pub was lovely and spotless, and the staff were all friendly. Breakfast in the morning was delicious :)
