The welcome was great and the place itself is lovely. Breakfast is extra but tasty, rooms are decent. The lodge looks beautiful. The downside? No staff around all day – feels like you’re on your own.

Everything was clean and comfy. Felt at home.

I liked everything, but if you’re traveling solo, it would help to have someone on site. The lack of staff makes a lone woman a bit uneasy – you’re not sure if a fellow guest is a guest or a stranger, especially since there are only a few rooms and the place is off the beaten path.
