The twin room felt too cramped, and the lack of a chair made it hard for older guests to use. I asked the front desk for a full cleaning instead of the eco‑cleaning they were doing, but they didn’t coordinate at all; the eco‑cleaning crew didn’t even dispose of the trash. The sheets were placed upside‑down. Later I learned that a foreign staff member handled the bed making and cleaning.

Very comfortable, and the service is always friendly. It’s a bit far from Nagoya Station, but Sakae is bustling.

I was worried because reviews mentioned a body‑odor issue, but that wasn’t the case, which was a relief. The room turned out to be larger than the one I booked, which was a pleasant surprise. However, there were few seats at breakfast and I was told I’d have to share, which I declined—this was the first time I’d been asked that. If it’s expected to be crowded, they could reserve a time slot or ask guests to wait. In the end, I couldn’t enjoy a relaxed breakfast, which was disappointing.
