A charming little hostel with rooms that are simple yet perfectly adequate. The shared bathrooms (separate toilet and shower) are very clean, and the common area is a pleasant spot to unwind. Dinner can be booked upon request and is outstanding—well‑cooked home‑style food. There’s also the option to rent a scooter; the one I used was less than a year old and in superb condition. Nothing to complain about.

I was the sole guest during the low season, and the owners welcomed me warmly. They upgraded my accommodation and were genuinely friendly. The place is straightforward, cozy, and tidy, with motorbikes and tuk‑tuks available for getting around. Its location is extremely close to the Chocolate Hills.

The staff were incredibly sweet and did everything to make our stay the best it could be. We stayed in the small huts, which were lovely, equipped with a small fan and mosquito net. Lhoy organized various tours around the island for us, so we didn’t have to scout around ourselves, which was fantastic. Jean provided delicious food for both breakfast and dinner.

I felt truly like family here. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by nature. The dinner was very, very good, and breakfast was equally delightful. I highly recommend spending a stay at this place. Thank you so much for everything!

I had a very nice stay at Lhoy and Jean Garden. They were very welcoming from the start. The hostel sits near rice fields, chocolate hills, and a small village. I enjoyed the calm environment and the surrounding nature. I would definitely recommend taking some time in Bohol’s countryside and visiting the hills, Tasiers, and nearby waterfalls. Thanks a lot, Jean and Lhoy!
