“Rakki OnsenRyokan”

The staff were lovely, attentive and super helpful, always going above and beyond. The location was good—just a bit off the main street, but quiet with lovely mountain views from our room. Our room was large and comfortable, though the drains in the bathroom were terribly smelly. The hotel feels a little run down, but it looks like upgrades are underway. Breakfast was a bit strange; it would have been nicer if they offered a pre‑order selection instead of serving dishes we didn’t eat and wasting food.

The location was convenient, and the experience in the huge traditional rooms was great. The owner also took us to Monkey Park free of charge.

The staff were very kind and helpful, going to a lot of effort to make our stay the best it could be. The Chinese breakfast was a bit disappointing, but overall they did go to a lot of effort.

Close to the station, the place is pleasant, the staff are very friendly, and the rooms are very cozy. There are several restaurants around, which enhances the whole atmosphere, and the services offered during the stay are also excellent.
