“Great service, lovely private venue, and fun exploring. Quality time was wonderful”
We were looking for a simple escape and this place hit the spot. A bit of canoeing and paddle‑boarding, then just quiet and remote. Some mist and light rain, then more sun – perfect for unplugging and hanging out together. The dinner with Dre was amazing. The only thing that felt a bit off was the setup on the float dock – running water, electricity, and the whole kit were great, but the bed was right next to the bathroom, which is fine for a luxury tent.
“A magnificent remote exploration & restoration experience!”
It was so quiet and remote. The SUP let me explore inlets and islands. The hot shower outside was lovely – really refreshing. I slept deeply, woke up to foggy mornings and sunny days. Wish I’d stayed longer and tried Dre’s cooking. Dre and his son Mateo were great hosts, helping with pick‑up, portage, and return. Nothing else to say – I love remote, simple, luxurious.
“Perfect blend of comfort and nature getaway”
Morgan and Dre were super friendly and welcoming. Everything was organized perfectly. We stayed mid‑May, and even when it rained and was windy at night, the inside stayed warm and cozy. Hot water, a shower, a kitchen, a toilet, and a real bed with a comfy mattress – it didn’t feel like camping at all. The secluded spot, surrounded by nothing but nature, was the perfect escape from the city and a great reset. I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves that kind of getaway.
“Stunning”
The spot was stunning, the bed was super comfy, and everything we needed for an off‑grid stay was there. Chef Andre cooked fantastic food. No complaints.
We had a great time at Luxfino. Truly remote – no other houses, just us and nature, maybe a distant boat. The tent was comfy and tied down with heavy chains. We stayed through strong winds and rain and it held up. The stove kept the tent warm (19°C inside when it was 15°C outside) but we hardly used it. The outdoor kitchen was well‑equipped, the fridge was small but handy. The outdoor shower had hot water – a unique way to wash in nature.
