The welcome, the equipment, and the quality of the bedding were all excellent, and there was nothing to complain about.

The place was spotless, quirky with its Japanese theme, and the bathroom and shower were very nice; the hosts were friendly and accommodating, but I had to keep the air‑con on all night even though it wasn’t hot outside because the only window was a Velux and it was raining, so the air‑con was necessary.

We skipped breakfast but the coffee they offered was exactly what we needed; the Japanese dinner was really good, and after a long drive we enjoyed the sauna and pool, plus we bought some lovely wine made by the host’s brother that we’d already tried with dinner.

I was impressed by the beautiful room with a shower, and the downstairs area was great for food and drinks – everything I needed was there. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and the breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that the bike storage required a small climb up.

Quirky and appealing with its Japanese theme. Crossing the busy road from the car park with our little dog was a hassle, but I understand there’s no other way to park our cars.
