A real change of scenery right near the airport, the perfect spot to explore northern Madagascar. The welcome was flawless, the dinners were superb with engaging conversations with the hosts, and the typical huts in a beautiful garden added to the charm. Nothing to complain about.

The family that runs the place is fantastic. They were very welcoming and helpful, and our kids had a blast playing together. Their garden is gorgeous and hosts plenty of chameleons and geckos right on the premises. The owner also arranged a car for us to visit Amber National Park.

The cabins feel genuinely rustic and spotlessly clean, each with a modest kitchen. I think this place is the closest to the airport, which was a huge help since we had to leave early. The owner is terrible yet very attentive, and she knows the area inside out—something not common in Madagascar. The only downside is that everything else is far away; you’ll need a car or a tuk‑tuk to get around.

Eric, Mina, and their kids are super friendly and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The bungalow is well equipped, tidy, and peaceful, and Mina’s cooking is delicious.

The gorgeous garden lets you spot chameleons, butterflies, and all sorts of insects. Mina and Eric are lovely hosts, the meals are tasty, and the conversations are fascinating!
