“Overall, it did the trick for our tour of the Lake District. I'm not sure I will stay there again.”
Room and bathroom were clean. And the pool looked lovely, just wish I had brought my costume. I found the bed and pillows all really hard. I was meant to ask about softer pillows, but was rushing about, so my fault there. Curtains never really closed properly so was woken by sun coming in. I also never realised hotel was so close to main road, so road traffic noise was hectic when windows open. Also expected more of a garden, maybe there is when building works are done, but don't think so
Everything was excellent, especially the wellness area which felt like a dream, and the food was superb.
