The view was lovely and the room was spacious and clean. We couldn’t access the large dining room with the view. Apart from the room, there was nowhere to sit, no coffee or tea option, and it was too expensive for the services. The room check‑in was done in our presence before we left, which was a shame because the view was splendid.

The lobby interior was wonderful! Two cats were there and the kids loved them. The shoe‑off style at the entrance kept the building clean. The room was a comfortable tatami room. I stayed in a corner room on the first floor with windows on two sides that looked out over the sea, and the view was great. The staff were very helpful and responded quickly to pre‑arrival inquiries. I could borrow a BBQ set for free. It would have been better if the shared toilet were available.

The staff were kind, the building looked old on the outside but inside it was clean and good.

The view and the size of the room were great. The shared bathroom felt uncomfortable because other guests were sitting in the hallway, making it awkward to pass by for showers.

The room was fairly large and offered a sea view. The owner offered a paid shuttle, charged per trip: station to the inn was 1000 yen, inn to Kinosaki Coast/Daishimiyama was 2000 yen. Public transport here is inconvenient, so we spent several thousand yen on taxis over two days, which was quite expensive. 1. There were an awful lot of bugs; the door wasn’t tight, and even with it closed, bugs swarmed in at night, including huge flying ants that landed on the bed and even my hair—an absolute nightmare. I could hear beetles crashing against glass trying to get in. 2. The basement shower was unreasonable: the paid hot spring and the regular shower were in the same room, and it was exclusive when someone else was using it. When we went that day, a couple was in there for almost two hours, so even though we paid for the hot spring, we had to wait for them to finish, which was very uncomfortable.
