Brambles bell tent

TI had nothing positive to say: it felt more like a squatters’ camp, everything was terrible, the homemade toilets were open air, the so‑called washing area was disgusting, the bed in the tent was filthy, the tent was a mess, the bed had four topper mattresses all past their purpose. I couldn’t stay there and had to book a hotel immediately, which was expensive for the scooter festival. I would strongly recommend avoiding this so‑called campsite. Everything was awful.

“Lovely bell tent”

The tent was great and Ruby was helpful, charging our lantern when it ran out. It was close to public transport and we enjoyed evenings watching bats and swifts. The shower was small and dirty, unfortunately. The toilets were fine but essentially, this was just a field with a few basic facilities.

Everything was fine: the bell tent was spacious, well equipped, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The toilets and shower were very good and clean, and well stocked. It was in a very good location, with bus stops outside so you could explore by bus if you like. Nothing to complain about.

The location was excellent, within walking distance of public transport (train station and bus stops), as well as local shops and pubs. The area and facilities were clean and suitable for children.

The tents were spotlessly clean and nicely arranged, but the bed felt lumpy and uncomfortable, and the shower seemed unclean, so we avoided using it.
