The place was awful. It’s not suitable for staying. It shouldn’t be on the booking list. A real disaster.

Vesko, our very kind host, treated us to figs and showed us his antique collection. The villa is located near the lake, and the view from the balcony is wonderful. It was noisy because there is a railway station nearby. The shower is shared between two rooms, but there are ants crawling around in it; it’s best to wear slippers while washing. Unfortunately, the restaurant has long been closed, and the villa itself is up for sale. You can tell that a lot of heart went into the building

Vesco was a lovely host and very friendly. The balcony was an amazing place to gaze across the road to the water and watch the birds. I even saw a Marsh Harrier fly past! The Aircon was far more effective than most I've experienced. The building is old but full of character and for £19 a night for a private room and bathroom, you can't go wrong! Clean and functional. If you have a car then no worries. If you don't have a car make sure you really understand the train times.there is a station very nearby which is great, but only local trains stop at the platform very infrequently so don't rely on apps like Rome to Rio! You also have to cross a busy main road and walk along a live train track for a short distance, but this seems to be standard practice in rural Montenegro and the trains are going slow enough that you can get out the way in time if one does come along
