The place was clean and the value for a simple stay was good, but the parking lot only holds one car; if you bring a car you need to check availability beforehand, and if full you’ll have to park nearby on a narrow road.

The owners were warm and made the stay comfortable; they kept a good distance but always refilled cold water in the fridge and helped with any problems, and the room was spotless with no odor, giving a reassuring sense of cleanliness. However, I personally have weaker legs and would have liked a chair to sit in the room.

I felt relaxed when the owners greeted me with friendly smiles; the setting was close to my usual environment and very calm. The facility was very clean and pleasant, making the short stay feel like a waste, and the coin laundry was just a short walk down a narrow lane with no confusion. The surrounding roads are very narrow and busy in the morning, but for me it felt like living there, so I’d like to stay again next year when I visit Nara. No complaints.

The couple were very kind and the room was spotless and clean. It felt less like a guesthouse and more like an inconvenient dormitory. I think guests need to accept these points: after 10 pm you cannot leave the property; everything is a bit far— the nearest convenience store is 8 minutes away; I tested the walk to the station and it took 10 minutes, not 6 minutes as some claimed, and imagine how tough it is in hot weather with heavy luggage. There is no washer in the building; the nearest coin‑operated machine is a 5‑minute walk away and it costs 400 yen per wash, and the clothes come out dirtier than before. The kitchen cannot be used; you are not allowed to rinse food or drink bottles at the sink, so if you spill or need to rinse something it’s very inconvenient. You cannot eat in the room; the fridge is on the second floor but you are only allowed to eat in the living room. There is no TV in the room.
