The Hosteria Chalp is situated in Ushuaia, less than 3 km from the bay. It has free parking subject to availability, and offers accommodations with views of the Martial Mountains. All Hosteria rooms have wood furnishings and are decorated in warm colours. They come equipped with TV and free Wi-Fi. They also have private bathrooms. The Chalp is located on Avenida Alem, and provides 24-hour front desk service. The Canal de Beagle is less than a 15 minute drive away.

The room that was assigned to me was very comfortable, well-heated, and the bathroom was very clean with excellent water pressure and hot water. All was good.

The host is very attentive, the facilities are good! I really missed a protein at breakfast – a cheese, ham, or at least an egg! There is no protein at all.

It was close to the center, had heating and good space—basic for a quiet night. The breakfast is fine but has room for improvement. Everything was fine, but the receptionist could be a bit more friendly and gentle with guests; that makes the difference.

Overall it was a positive and pleasant experience; Monica and her family were very kind and helpful, and we would return without any problem. I would add more fruit to the breakfast and an option without gluten.
