The location was top, a steep walk but easy by car. Breakfast was good. The interior could use a refresh, but nothing was broken, just old.

Breakfast was top notch, staff asked us which bread and how we like our eggs. The house sits up a hill, terrace gives a killer view of the citadel, especially when it's lit at night. The walk back to the city is a bit of a climb, but it's doable.

Beautiful view of the citadel, host was welcoming, and the place was spacious.

Host was super friendly and helpful. The honesty system for extra snacks was a nice touch. The only downside was no tap water readily available for drinking.
