Location and facilities and most importantly the very helpful and thoughtful staff. All our needs were looked after. 5 star quality from staff with the attention to detail that was flawless. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Nothing all was excellent

The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the onsen inside the room was fantastic, even though it only fits one person. I booked a slot in the private onsen and it was amazing. If you skip that, the public onsen is more than sufficient and tattoo‑friendly. Dinner and breakfast were Japanese style, but you could also opt for a western breakfast if you prefer. Nanami served dinner impeccably, was very friendly, and explained each dish. A Japanese saxophonist added a great vibe. Highly recommend – it’s right at the start of Nara Park.

The room came with an open‑air bath and a sauna, which was perfect! There’s also a rooftop that offers a panoramic view of Nara, a bar (paid) at night, and a café‑like setting in the morning. The staff were helpful and gave us plenty of tourist information.

The staff’s hospitality was truly wonderful, and they gladly accommodated various requests. Everywhere in the building and in the rooms there were tasteful furnishings that made the stay enjoyable.
