The location from the M6 is fantastic, and the breakfast was the best I’ve had in a long time, but see below. The room numbering system is peculiar and the layout confusing—more signage would help. The bar menu is very ordinary and uninteresting, and for the evening meal there was no one serving in the bar for an hour while we waited for check‑in.

When I booked, breakfast was included, but at check‑in I was told I’d have to pay extra for it.

It was a lovely hotel, but I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of my room. The bath was too dirty to use and clearly needed a deep clean.

Very dog friendly . The kids sessions in the pool were brilliant with the inflatables. The doors banging at all hours
