“Beautiful uphill location”
The hotel’s location is great, up the hill with a stunning view of the town from the breakfast terrace and upper balconies. The spa area is beautiful too, and I enjoyed a fantastic massage there after a long day of mountain biking. Breakfast comes as a set, a mix of Turkish and Western styles. There’s a lovely lounge on a terrace where I could have a quiet glass of wine at sunset, away from the crowds you see on some other terraces and on the street above. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious, spotless, with a well‑working A/C. Staff spoke good English and were friendly and professional in every way. The hotel is in two buildings separated by a small street, so it’s good to know which side you’re booking. The original cave suites are on the upper side, but my room was on the other side. Even though the room was lovely, I didn’t get a view from it and had to use the communal terraces on the other side instead. I also had to cross the street to get to the spa, which was inconvenient, especially since the hotel doesn’t provide bathrobes. After using the sauna and pool I had to step out onto the street with a towel. I’d recommend bathrobes for guests staying in the lower part of the hotel for a more pleasant spa experience.
