We were greeted warmly and escorted to our room; they made sure everything was fine before we left. We arrived at breakfast 10/15 minutes early, which was fine and we were warmly welcomed. The rooms were dated, but that didn't bother us because they were clean and comfortable.

The location was good for visiting family. The room was very spacious with a comfy bed. Fresh towels were provided for both days. A limited breakfast was included. The value is good and we can see that improvements and refurbishment are underway. The check‑in staff were friendly. The shower screen does not reach the top of the bath, causing leakage on the floor. The furniture and decor feel tired. The toilet brush was dirty. The breakfast was half‑hearted and of poor quality.

The breakfast was decent, but the location turned out to be farther from other amenities than I had expected. The bathroom felt very cramped and the bedroom was on the smaller side; the sink had no plug, the decor looked tired, and in some spots the carpets had been removed and not replaced.

The town is closed, and the receptionist was nice. The place was cold but they are okay!!
