The place and the suite I stayed in were exactly what I was looking for. The safe doesn’t work and the microwave door stays jammed. The right-hand sink tap is loose and needs fixing. Adding a table and a iron as an extra would be ideal.

The view was especially impressive, along with everything else. The noise from the construction site and the lack of a shuttle to the beach were the only negatives.

The room itself was beautifully designed and the view was absolutely stunning. The door to the exterior bathroom is basically a gate, so at night a lot of little critters can get in; a fully closing door like the kitchen’s would be better. You can also see that the property needs some maintenance in spots. The whirlpool was locked, and the main pool and the private balcony pool were cleaned only once a week; more frequent cleaning would help, since wind already brings a lot of dirt into the pools.

The suite was spacious and comfortable, and the private pool was a real perk. The outdoor bathroom was also very pleasant. The sunset from the restaurant terrace was beautiful. The décor and bedding and towels were high quality. The road was a bit bumpy, but we were warned beforehand and driving slowly was perfectly doable. The shower tap was broken; we managed with a borrowed wrench from the hotel. We stayed in suite 8 with a private pool, but it’s in a corner so the view isn’t like the photos—quite disappointing. It might be good to mention that in the listing. Still, the value for money and room quality were top despite that. The restaurant’s cuisine wasn’t to our taste.

The view was nice. They tried to charge me extra for two beds even though I had confirmed and paid for them; we refused to be scammed and tried to get help for two days. The response was to contact the hotel directly, but there was no help at all. My daughter and I had to share a bed. I was insistent but always polite. The reception staff didn’t appreciate having the confirmation handed to them and rudely told us to leave if we weren’t happy, as if we could find another hotel that day. The house‑rules list made us feel imprisoned and forced to serve their needs. The pool was dirty and never cleaned. The jacuzzi had no water. The shower had little water and was lukewarm if we were lucky. The breakfast buffet was almost empty and cold at 8:30 am; breakfast ran until 9:30 am and we had to reserve and pay for it the night before at 6000 F.
