Nestled in Albi’s historic center, Chambres d'hôtes La Tour Sainte‑Cécile sits just 50 m from Toulouse Cathedral, offering rooms with panoramic city views. Each air‑conditioned suite features a flat‑screen TV, private bath, and unique décor. A 10‑minute walk reaches Albi‑Ville station, the Tarn River, and the airport is a 10‑minute drive.

The old farmhouse has exquisite décor, the room is very spacious, it’s just two steps from Albi Cathedral and the Toulouse Lautrec Museum, and the breakfast is delicious.

The character lodge is a 16th‑century building in Albi’s historic choir, with a room (Toulouse‑Lautrec) accessed by a narrow spiral staircase overlooking the city’s red roofs – a remarkable time jump. All facilities were perfect: air‑conditioning (essential), comfortable bed, separate bathroom and toilet, breakfast. Thanks also to our host Muriel, who was very valuable. Two shortcomings were the poor Wi‑Fi quality and the lack of a fridge in the room (acceptable because the place isn’t really suited for one).

The property is in Albi’s historic center, on the pedestrian zone and fairly quiet. The owner and the woman running the place are truly fantastic people: friendly, kind, and very helpful. They offered us a room larger than expected. On the morning of our departure they served a very good and abundant breakfast despite it being very early. They made us feel very at home.

The central location is nice, but it’s tucked away enough for some peace. The suite was absolutely stunning, steeped in history, and is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The tower room was unique, complete with a winding staircase that looks like something out of a Disney film. The host was wonderful.
