“Skip this town and especially this apartment”
The place was the cheapest option in town during the festival, yet paying over 200 EUR for two nights in what I consider the ugliest town I've ever seen in Croatia—after living and traveling there for years—felt insane. The staff at check‑in were high maintenance; not rude, but they kept asking for our exact arrival time and checking in if we were running late, which felt odd given we were on a road trip with no set plans. The apartment itself was very dismal and clearly in need of major updates; I've stayed in worse places in third‑world countries like India and SE Asia, but this is Croatia, and it was by far the worst apartment I've ever seen in this country.
