The venue is stunning, away from city noise, with staff—Weda, Pak Made, Widia, Bu Wayan, Bu Buda, Purni, Awan, and especially Erlina—who frequently checked on us; the menu food was superb, and they surprised me with a birthday treat in my room, making the stay truly extraordinary, though the distance is a drawback typical of a retreat.

The cottages looked beautiful, the view was stunning, and the gardens and pool were excellent, with good quality meals at a very reasonable price and a nice touch of having breakfast by the pool. The 1 km trail to get there is long and very hilly, making it impossible to walk with luggage, especially since three dogs on the path act aggressively; you really need a private driver or a Grab ride, but Grab won’t take you back on the trail either. It’s also a pity there’s no mini‑fridge in each cottage despite the basement kitchenette.

The location is insane, overlooking the whole valley with a view that passes through a blue orange orchard—mind‑blowing! The rooms are surprisingly pleasant, the terrace is comfy and nice, the heated pool overlooks the scenery, the Indonesian food is delicious, and the staff are very welcoming.
