A road closure made it a bit tricky to find the Inn amid Stone Town’s maze of alleys, but once inside navigating to the main sights was straightforward; the room was basic yet perfectly adequate for a short stay, and the central location is a bonus. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist, though Wi‑Fi was lost for most of the day until the owner let me use her hotspot to check flight times.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is ideally situated in the heart of Stone Town, making any major sight a short walk away. The area can be quite loud at times, with street noise leaking into the room, and my room had an opaque window facing the hallway so hallway light always shone in; these issues weren’t a problem for me personally, but they’re not ideal for light sleepers.
