The style of the house, its location, the outdoor area, and the setting were all good. However, the suite was advertised for four people but really only fit two because the sofa bed was broken, very uncomfortable, and the sheets were unpressed and stained.

The location in the middle of Key West was great, everything was within walking distance, and the veranda was lovely for outdoor seating. When we arrived, the couch‑sofa wasn’t prepared even though we had booked it for four people. The mattress was completely flattened and there was no level sleeping surface. There was no blanket, only a bed sheet. Overall, it wasn’t a full‑fledged accommodation for four. No on‑site staff, everything had to be handled by phone and SMS. The place smelled musty and needed more ventilation.

The location was excellent, and the property was charming with nice décor, creating a very pleasant overall atmosphere. When we arrived, the sofa bed meant for our children hadn’t been set up. We had to open it ourselves and found the mattress in very poor condition, heavily worn and not suitable for sleeping, with visible mold. The room had clear humidity problems, a damp odor, and mold marks around the window. After our stay, I saw that other guests had mentioned similar issues (humidity, odor, mold, sofa bed condition), so it doesn’t seem isolated. Given the price (over $600 per night), the cleanliness and upkeep were disappointing. The management offered a $150 refund, which I appreciate, but it doesn’t fully match the overall experience.

The spot was great and the shower was solid, but the sofa bed was a total letdown – it was completely sagging, so we had to strip the mattress and lay it on the floor, which was a bit of a disappointment.

The location and decor were spot on, and honestly everything else was perfect – no complaints at all.
