The cottage is spacious, cozy, and fully equipped with everything you need; the kitchen works well, so we cooked a couple of meals. Strolling around the farm and feeding the goats in the morning was a highlight. It’s situated on a farm in a remote wilderness near lakes, so bugs are unavoidable; a few manage to get into the house, which can be annoying. Some window seals could be improved, because at night many mosquitoes try to sneak in through the screen. Overall it was a pleasant stay, though this might bother some guests.
