The property’s location is ideal, not only for visiting Carcassonne but for the whole region. The place is stunning with all facilities on site, large rooms and bathrooms, a nice swimming pool, and a big fridge at the pool where you can keep drinks or store your own.

I stayed at a villa tucked away in a quiet residential area just outside the city; cycling to the old town is easy thanks to a path near the road, and the owner gave a warm welcome. The room was lovely, the bathroom comfortable (except for the glass door), and the breakfast on the terrace was good; the pool looked great and everything was nicely arranged. The property is gated, so security was not an issue.
