Tranquility

The spot is great, with parking right in front of the house. The house itself is lovely, and Celene is very attentive, offering helpful suggestions on where to eat and how to get to the nearby town. The only downside was privacy. At about 10:00 pm I was quietly showering and made no noise, but when I stepped out of the bathroom Celene was there checking that everything was okay. While her intentions were good, it felt unnecessary. When guests rent a room and pay for their stay, it would be better to give them more privacy, especially when the host lives just next door, something I wasn’t aware of beforehand. Overall it was a pleasant stay, but a greater respect for guest privacy would make the experience even better.

Lovely hosts in a quiet location with both walking and bus access to the city center. The room is spacious and the shared bathroom is large.

The owner, Celine, is a gem—generous and genuine. It’s a bit of a walk from downtown, but not horrible.
