“Disappointing and severely overpriced”

sheets were clean and of decent quality. there were enough towels, and there was water provided when the town had a water boil advisory. the room was a good temperature during the cold nights without having to adjust. the shower was cold one morning. the entire bathroom shook and vibrated all day and night from being next to a staff laundry room. the walls are thin can hear neighbors using bathroom/shower. the service staff room next door would bang open at 7am every morning and multiple staff members would load in and out constantly, talking and shaking the floor as they walked by. the floors creek like an old treehouse. the sink was all chipped and worn. the fridge had a very loud hum. most absurd $700 a night room i've stayed in the world, feels more like a $120 motel room - not 100% the hotel's fault necessarily, but it is criminal - the market is wildly overpriced in jackson, probably the worst anywhere in the world. a $700 room in downtown Manhattan/LA/Paris/London is pure luxury
