Masai Mara Zanzibar, a boutique hotel on Jambiani’s pristine coast, offers private beach access and panoramic sea views. Its infinity pool, sun terrace, and lush gardens complement a restaurant serving African, Dutch, French, Indian, Italian, Mediterranean, and local dishes. Air‑conditioned rooms feature balconies, private baths, and family suites, while yoga classes and free Wi‑Fi enhance comfort.

The food was exceptional, probably the best hotel food I’ve ever had. The view and location are fantastic; I could never get tired of them. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The beds are very comfortable (and I’m a difficult customer with back issues) and everything is clean and functional. It is quiet at night, so sleep quality is excellent. We also enjoyed the turtle‑swimming trip and the snorkeling excursion. And lastly, the owner is great—he fixed a booking mix‑up when we messed it up. Nothing was wrong; everything was just perfect.

The staff were genuinely caring and very calm, and the place looked even more beautiful in person than in the photos; the setting is simply stunning. The breakfast lacked variety and the meals were pricey compared to the rest of the island.

Everything about this place blew me away—from the rooms and the incredible view to the friendly, helpful staff—and the food was among the best I’ve had during my entire stay in Zanzibar; thanks for hosting us, I’ll definitely return 🥰.

The personalized breakfast on day one was great, but the buffet on day two felt less pleasant and less plentiful; Jambiani is a fantastic beach, the hotel’s view of the pool is lovely, and the team is very cheerful and available. The restaurant offered very good, fresh products and the hotel itself is quiet and intimate with only four rooms. However, we booked a Sea View room but actually received a terrace with a Sea View, which was a big disappointment upon arrival—be careful when booking. There’s no swimming at high tide (no access), so much of the day is without sea swimming from this hotel. There’s no private beach access, only a staircase next to it for low tide, far from the village. The building is aging (e.g., the bathroom), and while the restaurant is tasty, it’s too expensive for all meals and offers no snack options.
