Everything was spotless throughout the hotel, the staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful, the breakfast buffet offered a superb regional selection, and the pool, sauna and quiet area were perfect; the dinner menu stood out as a flawless, lovingly prepared experience, though we wish there had been a fridge in the room to keep snacks and drinks cool for our hiking trips.

Everything was generally fine and we enjoyed our stay. We were a bit let down that the sauna wasn’t available, even though it’s listed in the description. The gentleman kindly explained that we could tell him about an hour before we wanted to use it and he’d heat it up for us, but we’d been hiking all day and got back around 6 p.m., so that option wasn’t practical for us.

Family‑friendly, all wishes were met, great breakfast, and the half‑board option was excellent and could be added daily.
