I stayed at this quirky place and the rooms were clean and spacious, so we had a great time in town and rested well; the owner was very kind. The bathroom was a bit cramped, which was a pity, and it would have been nice to have a coffee machine with welcome chocolates in addition to the kettle, but overall I recommend it.

The spot is just a few steps from the main street, and there’s a large free parking lot about 50 m away. The bathroom floor is too low, so every time I used the toilet I had to bump my head repeatedly. Air conditioning is only in the common room, not in the double bedroom, and the Wi‑Fi is nonexistent (Linkem is dead).

The place is close to the center and the owner is friendly. The bathroom is tiny and not up to standards, with no window or exhaust fan, so any smell fills the room. The toilet is under a low arch, so even a person half a meter tall has to bend. Light from the stairwell’s skylight leaks through the front door, there's a risk of falling from the mezzanine, and the pillows feel like thin sheets.

I had a very pleasant stay in the center of Bernalda; the property was clean and quiet, and the owners were very helpful.
