The décor and style were beautiful with great attention to detail, and the beds were very comfortable. Sometimes light leaked into our room from the shared public space outside at night, and when the manager was absent it was hard to communicate with the staff.

The hotel sits in a peaceful block and is beautiful and clean. Breakfast started around 9.00, so it was late. We booked a second room and more nights, so we had to check in multiple times and call the manager; there were also minor issues with the shower.

The interior feels like home, and after all the city noise and pollution, returning to this place felt like stepping back into paradise—calm and quiet. The staff were always ready to help, and staying with my wife and 16‑month‑old made me feel safe and cocooned. This was my fourth visit to India and I’d stayed in guest houses, lodges, business hotels, and even 5‑star hotels, but Kanak Vilas had a distinct, home‑away‑from‑home vibe. On the downside, the location isn’t the Beverly Hills of Jaipur, but it’s still within a 15‑minute tuk‑tuk ride of the main attractions and markets, which is acceptable given the price.

One of the best stays in Jaipur: the location is great, there’s plenty of parking, check‑in is super easy, the staff are friendly, the place is clean, the atmosphere is cozy, the ambience is lovely, and the food is good—everything was fantastic. Thank you.
