“Definitely not a 3 star hotel”
The location was good. Honestly, I can’t understand how this place is classified as a 3‑star hotel. From the first glance it looks condemned: the original entrance is boarded up, the current entrance is on the other side, the building looks neglected and in disrepair. The stairs to the entrance are fine, but the next set of stairs are roped off and the railings have disintegrated. No one was at reception, and after waiting 5 minutes past check‑in we had to translate a sign that said “welcome and your name is on your room, key is inside.” The room was just okay. The floor was dirty and obviously hadn’t been cleaned properly. The shower recess and toilet were clean, but there were used toothbrushes in the vanity. It was clear nothing was mopped – the bathroom floor was disgusting under the towel rail. If this were rated a one‑star, or even a two‑star, I wouldn’t write this review. Calling it a three‑star means that a hotel I stayed at two nights earlier, Lido Park, should be a six‑star. Plus it was only about AUD$30 per night more. Drop your rating or close.
