I stayed in a lovely attic apartment with everything you could ask for. The bed was comfortable, the shower warm, and there was a nice little sofa to read a book on in the evenings. The location is good for anyone in Drenthe who wants to walk or cycle, and it’s easy to reach by bus from Hoogeveen to Meppel and back. You can shop in the nearby village of Zuidwolde.
