“Fantastic stay at Destino di Nora”
We had a wonderful time at Destino di Nora — quite possibly our favourite hotel we've stayed in across Europe. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The pool and terrace area was beautiful — a great spot to relax. A lovely extra touch was the bikes provided to get into town, which made exploring easy and fun. The whole property was spotlessly clean and tidy. Breakfast was wonderful, with fresh fruit, croissants, eggs cooked to your liking, and a good spread of cold meats and cheeses. It's a short walk down to the beach, though if you have a car, it's worth driving a little further as there are even better beaches nearby. The hotel cat refused to be our friend, no matter how hard we tried. Everything else was excellent!

The service was attentive and the details were spot on throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the hot tub had a nicely controlled temperature that stayed warm, letting me read in it for over an hour one afternoon without it cooling down before dinner. It was very restful and perfect. The only thing I’d change is to have puffier pillows.

We stayed 11 nights at the resort, drawn by its stellar reviews and high expectations. The property itself and the rooms are genuinely beautiful, modern, high‑quality, and clean. The private whirlpool on the terrace is a definite highlight, and the location is superb: both the nearest beach and Pula’s center are just a few minutes away, either on foot or with the provided bicycles. Breakfast was generally fine and the food quality good, though we wished for more variety because the selection remained quite narrow throughout our stay. Overall, we found the resort well‑maintained and appealing. On the downside, the lack of Wi‑Fi everywhere in the resort was a major limitation for us, especially since we needed reliable internet for work during our stay. We also expected a more proactive service attitude; for example, during the two days at the pool, no one asked if we wanted a drink or anything else, even though we could order via WhatsApp. A resort at this price point should offer attentive, proactive service. The shower gel was only available in small samples and had to be requested, and communication on site was mostly in Italian and French, with no easy English option, which was disappointing for a resort of this category. Occasional barking from the resort dog around 8 am and occasional children at the pool were not major issues by themselves, but combined with the other points they contributed to a sense that the luxury resort standard isn’t consistently met. We’ve experienced other properties where this is handled much better, even for about half the price.
