The breakfast was good and varied, the staff very nice, but because of other guests’ parking the paid spot could not be used one night.

Breakfast was adequate and plenty, thanks to the breakfast manager, but everything else could have been better; the seating furniture was very uncomfortable for long evenings, the TV had almost no channels—no ARD or ZDF, only a few private channels and a useless advertising channel, and when we asked, we were told no more channels were possible. We paid 20 € per night for our dog, yet the room offered nothing that other hotels provide for pets, such as a food bowl, treats or a blanket, so why 20 €? In the end we had to pay extra for a bottle of wine we didn’t drink, but that was sorted later.

The hotel is cute and small, the room was large and unusually stylish, not the typical hotel look, the staff were friendly and the breakfast tasty, but it was a bit noisy and not very cheap for a single night.

I stayed at a German hotel that surprisingly didn't offer ARD, ZDF, or the local 3 TV channels, which was the only place in Germany where that happened. Even though we were there for a week, we only received instant coffee and tea bags once, and those small omissions made us feel less welcomed.

The hotel was very cozy and the service was nice, but the restaurant’s reinterpretation of the dishes left something to be desired.
