“would come here for dinner but not to stay”
Dinner was very good. Breakfast was not so good – a piece of butter was mixed in with the toast. The room was very small and the bathroom was almost too small.

The room was small but just about adequate, although it wasn’t a superking bed (we should have checked the bed size more carefully). The food was very good for dinner and especially the cooked breakfast, which was excellent. Additional items for breakfast were limited, but as mentioned the cooked breakfast was top notch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was small and uncomfortable, and the church clock sounded every 15 minutes (not their fault but we should have been warned), so it didn’t help with a good night’s sleep.

Generous portions of cooked breakfast options. No marmalade or jam with the toast. No blinds on the bathroom window.

Fair. The menu was poor and the quality was less than appetizing.
