“Nicht zu empfehlen”

We were transferred to another hotel, which worked smoothly, but the Kipphut hotel was dirty, the sheets had spots, and we found bugs around the room. We wanted to complain, but nobody was there, so we left straight away.

“Empfehlenswert!”

The location was good, we were just passing through, the place was clean, the bathroom was nice, and the breakfast was great—excellent value for money. If you want a 5‑star experience, just book the Hilton; for us it was perfectly fine. The only downside was the reviews from complaining guests.

Very fresh and good value. A bit isolated but fine. Breakfast was included and good.

The spot near Mera Luna was convenient and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the floor in the rooms wasn’t clean. One room had no TV, another had a device that wasn’t plugged in. Breakfast was very basic; only one apple was offered to all guests. There were egg cups but no eggs. Very sparse.

Honestly nothing! We were told by phone that the place was reachable until midnight, but that was not true! The phone number on the confirmation was unreachable. The room we had reserved and confirmed by phone, room 7, was locked! We stood with our luggage in front of a locked door. I heard snoring from the room – someone else had taken it! No one told us. On arrival day Friday we had no hot water. The room was dirty, as if it had been cleaned and then left unchecked! There were dead flies everywhere. Only three power outlets. The floor lamp was broken, you couldn’t touch it because it wobbled. The sink had no stopper. The plastic cup meant for brushing teeth was dirty, clearly used, and it looked like it was just rinsed and left. The shower cabin was defective; a shower panel fell on me and hurt me! Towels were laid haphazardly over the table and chair, one was totally ripped, the doormat was a free AOK gift! On Saturday morning we were again in front of a locked door to the breakfast room, no one was there, no breakfast served. After 45 minutes a lunch attendant opened the door and set up a sporadic breakfast. There were rolls that seemed frozen and thawed, only a small platter of sausage and cheese, no eggs. Some breakfast cereals, little jam, and that was all. What we expected from the Adam Hotel was more than this; it felt more like a student dorm or hostel than a proper hotel. In short, it was not relaxing, lowest category.
