The place was very clean and spacious; we comfortably stayed as two families of four each, but we would have liked to dine in a garden instead of between houses, though it’s a minor detail.

The location was great with plenty of nature, yet if extra on‑site charges like a tourist tax or bed tax appear, they should be mentioned in the listing; Wi‑Fi is advertised but you can’t get online, the connection is poor to non‑existent, the sleeping arrangement is not restful, the mattress is as hard as stone, pillows and duvet feel like straw, the stove top is dirty, and as a vacation rental you expect at least two rooms—living, cooking, sleeping all in one space, and you still have to clean up yourself at the end, otherwise the host will bill you.

A truly beautiful, quiet farm in the middle of the Spreewald with no traffic, just nature and animals; our holiday apartment was modern, super clean and well equipped, the host family was very warm and made us feel welcome immediately, the kids could help feed the animals and had plenty to explore on the farm, and we felt completely at ease.

The ground floor was pleasantly cool and the mosquito net on the window was a nice touch.

The farm is very quiet and child‑friendly, with many cats, chickens, geese, and an early‑morning cuckoo; our two grandchildren enjoyed playing with the two children of the owners, there’s a large bouncy castle and a trampoline, but the playground feels a bit dated. The description of the apartment is inaccurate: there are no two bedrooms, just a combined living‑dining‑sleeping area without interior doors; a steep staircase leads to the upper sleeping area, which also lacks a door, so adults can only use the balcony at night if they don’t want to wake the kids; the apartment’s size is probably wrong, and the kitchen supplies are insufficient for four people—after every meal you have to wash by hand because the dishware is inadequate.
