I can’t give 100/10, so I’ll settle for 10/10. It’s by far one of my best experiences in Sri Lanka. After staying a single night with my family before heading to Negombo, I quickly realized I wanted to stay longer, so I stayed three more days. It’s a family house that also functions as a guesthouse and restaurant. The sea is just a two‑step walk away and the location is great. The rooms are large, spacious, and clean. The house sits at the end of a very quiet path—only the birds bother you. Their food is excellent, lovingly prepared, and they make you feel at home. The value for money in the area is unbeatable—cheap and delicious. During my extra three days, I got to learn more about this wonderful family. I was treated like royalty, we played cards, the mother and daughter taught me how to cook, and I even helped them in the kitchen. They became part of my family. They’re real people with values and a pure heart. I can’t even describe the well‑being you feel when you step inside. Stay there as long as you can, eat there as often as you can. In short, don’t miss this place on your Sri Lankan trip. The only downside was not having more time to enjoy even more. Everything else was perfect—go for it with your eyes closed.

The owners were incredibly kind and always smiling, and they greeted us with a fantastic smoothie upon arrival. We also enjoyed dining at the on‑site restaurant, where the local dishes were amazing. The overall vibe was very positive, so I highly recommend it, and we absolutely loved the staff’s dog, Chapa.
