“Overall I will always choose this hotel”

The staff were friendly and the place was quiet, which I appreciated. Sunday’s breakfast was solid with eggs, sausage links, waffles, oatmeal, coffee, juices, milk, cereal, bread, muffins, and fruit—really nice. On Monday morning it was a bit frustrating because we thought breakfast ran from 6‑10, but it’s actually 6:30‑9:30 during the week, so that was disappointing; still the staff supplied fruit (bananas), yogurt, and oatmeal with coffee, which was decent but not the best. The price felt a bit high, especially the $100 deposit, and there was noise from upstairs. I explained everything I needed to say and the staff apologized, covering the good and the bad.

The room smelled very clean, the linens and towels were fresh, and the beds were comfortable—though one bed squeaked each time you turned over. The floor was tidy, and I appreciated that cash payments were accepted. The check‑in and check‑out staff were courteous. However, the microwave was dirty from the previous guest, with dried pasta sauce and crumbs, and it didn’t work even though the power was on; the buttons were unresponsive. One lamp over the bed didn’t turn on, and the fridge contained a small dead bug despite appearing wiped. Breakfast wasn’t available until 7, and there was no coffee or tea. I also couldn’t get a receipt for my cash payment at check‑in; I was told I’d receive a full receipt the next morning, which I did, but not having proof of payment was unsettling.

“Was a VERY unpleasant visit. Drove up & knew right away it was not nice. Asked to see the room and clerk pretty mu”

I didn’t stay there, but the parking lot felt sketchy and unsafe. It seemed like many long‑term renters were hanging out, there were BBQ grills on balconies, and dogs barked. The receptionist, who apparently owned the place, didn’t care that we didn’t want to stay and just wanted money.
