“Breakfast should have more diversity”

The breakfast selection could be more diverse, and guests should be allowed to order more than one item; breakfast shouldn’t be limited in the number of dishes guests can have. Nothing else.

The property sits on the east bank of the lake, offering beautiful views and fresh air. It’s about 40 minutes from Dali city, so it’s not ideal for those who need urban conveniences or want to hike Cangshan on the western side of the lake. But for those who prefer a relaxed pace, especially with water views, it’s a great spot. The resort is part of a cluster with 15+ other resorts that share walking paths and shuttle service using golf carts. The common areas are neatly landscaped, and with the water views, many photo‑seekers gather, which can get crowded. The room itself is nice and well maintained. Breakfast is offered as either a western or Chinese set meal, so the selection is more limited than a full buffet. Overall, we were glad we stayed here, but next time we’d likely stay closer to the city for easier access to Cangshan and city shopping.

“Disappointing”

The staff were friendly and trying to help. Breakfast was good, with a choice between Chinese and Western options. The room looked like the picture but was much more worn. Shuttle to the entrance was available anytime. The bed was comfortable. The swimming pool was a scam. According to the description it’s seasonal but available to everyone; the pool was there and ready to use, but they told us it’s not included in our room, it’s a private pool. Overall the ambience looked promising in the pictures, creating an expectation that couldn’t be met. There is no hotel facility you can use to enjoy the view. There used to be a bar which closed a long time ago. Since the room doesn’t have any view, there’s no point in staying there. There are many other hotels around that are much nicer, so it’s sad we booked this one based on false promises. The area is very touristic and overcrowded, with many restaurant options but low quality. There was extremely loud music until 9 pm every day from a bonfire next door; it’s so loud you can’t enjoy your room unless you watch TV or use strong earplugs. We stayed for two nights.

“愉快的一晚！”

The hotel is very clean, with exquisite décor and thoughtful design. The room is fully equipped, lacking nothing. It can be said that the French hotel industry still has a lot to learn in this area. The hotel is located in a mixed‑use area, surrounded by other hotels, shops, and restaurants. It also offers views of Dali Lake and is close to a trail, making it very suitable for walking or running. The staff are very enthusiastic and attentive. Overall experience is very satisfying. If I come back to Dali, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Breakfast: Breakfast is very good and if you dont like one thing, you can simply tell the receptionist one day before so that they can alter that thing you dont like with the thing you like. in your breakfast. Staff is very supportive and use translation-mobile apps for English. Location: Excellent. Room was not Soundproof: Hotel is near to the place where they play live music whole day until 09.30 PM and they do fireworks too. You cannot avoid the sound noise as hotel is not soudproof. Sunlight in the room. Curtains are not dark enough to block the light coming into the room from 06.00AM
